Tests in oil fired power plants as well
as steam plants in various countries have shown an average decrease of
7% in fuel consumption, as well as the reduction of the opacity by 40%.
The tests with gasoline and diesel engines took over a decade with scientific tests such as FTP 75, and in the field.
A
significant increase in Heat of Combustion (ASTM-D240) showed an
increase with ethanol, diesel 2, 84 octane-gasoline, 97 octane-gasoline,
kerosene and bio-diesel.
In the laboratory tests there was an
increase of 15% in the power on internal combustion engines. In the
field, the gain was between 10% and 15%.
